TUMC's Children’s Ministry

Willa Kids is TUMC’s Children’s Ministry, serving children age 3 through 5th grade and their families. Willa Kids seeks to create environments and equip families to grow in their faith together. We believe that faith is caught more than it is taught. Therefore, at TUMC we take great emphasis on children being engaged in worship and study alongside persons of all ages in response to the covenant that we make at the time of a child’s baptism:
to surround all children with a community of love and forgiveness, that they may grow in their trust of God, and be found faithful in their service to others as we pray for them, that they may be true disciples who walk in the way that leads to life (UMC Baptismal Covenant I).
Willa Kids gathers:
Sundays from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. for Sunday School in Room 32 in the Sanctuary Building
Sundays following the Children’s Moment in Room 20 in the Education Building
Wednesdays from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. in Room 20 in the Education Building

Join the Gormans – Mr. Bill, Mrs. Deb, and Miss Alaine – and their team for Bible stories, games, and crafts as you learn about the God that loves you so.

For more Family Faith Development Resources, please visit LECFamily. LECFamily is a ministry of The Florida Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church that seeks to support congregations and individual families in making faith formation a family affair. What happens at home matters, especially when it comes to faith. LECFamily realizes families are busy, and being intentional about faith formation together can be challenging. LECFamily’s programs provide the opportunity for families to get away from the daily grind, and focus on what matters the most in a fun and safe environment.
