Friends In Fellowship
Friends of Faith, as
part of The Methodist Way's: Intentional Discipleship, is a
Bible class comprised of adults of all ages, who meets every Sunday morning
at 8:30, prior to Worship.
What makes Friends of
Faith a bit unique is that there is no regular teacher, or leader. However,
each week a different class participant leads the study and discussion.
Only those who wish to lead do so - no one is forced to lead!
The selected emphasis
of missions is that of the Children's Ministry. Support is given to the
Children's Ministry with weekly donations by class participants.
The next study is entitled, "What would
it be like to be disciplined by Jesus?," which is based on the book of
Matthew. Also: What would he teach us about relationships, priorities,
wealth and His coming Kingdom? What would we learn from His actions?
Following the study on Mark, the next
study will be based on I and II Thessalonians, followed by I & II
Corinthians.
