November 29	Rev. Gary Shockley Path 1 New Church Strategist Gary has been serving as a pastor in the United Methodist Church since the age of 18. His passion for fruitful ministry over the years as pastor, fund-raising consultant and leadership coach has resulted in revitalizing existing congregations and planting two new communities of faith. Gary believes the best days of our church are yet ahead of us and is excited to be part of a team that will re-imagine what it means to be the church as we seek to re-evangelize our new United States. Gary is the author of two books focused on spiritual leadership and congregational development: The Meandering Way - Leading by Following the Spirit (2007) and *Imagining Church: Seeing Hope in a World of Change* (2009) which he co-wrote with his wife Kim, both published by Alban Institute. Gary and Kim have two sons, Aaron and Jake.
December 6	Rev. Dean Witten W. Dean Witten is a retired pastor of the Florida Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. He has served as pastor of several United Methodist churches and as a superintendent of the Sarasota and Orlando districts, 1992-2002. He is currently Pastor Emeritus of Sanlando United Methodist Church. Pastor Witten is married to Joan and they are parents of three adult children and nine grandchildren.

December 20	Rev. Harold D. Lewis, Sr. Director, Black Congregational Development Harold D. Lewis is a native of Greenwood, Mississippi born to Ms. Katie M. Jones as the third child of six children. He holds the Bachelor of Arts Degree from Tougaloo College in Tougaloo, Ms, the Master's of Divinity from Gammon Theological Seminary in Atlanta, GA and an Honorary Doctorate of Sacred Theology from the Reformed Methodist Church in Toledo, OH. He was ordained in the Mississippi Annual Conference where he served for five years at the Wesley United Methodist Church before being called and appointed as the senior Pastor of the Lincoln Park United Methodist Church in Washington, DC. for the past ten years. He is married and he and his wife, Janet, have seven children. His personal coined philosophy on life is "Never let anyone else's negative opinions of you become your reality."
