Dare to Dream Sermon Series

At the beginning of January many of us take time to explore goals, dreams, or intentions for the New Year...and sometimes we are left wondering... Are my goals too small? Am I on the correct path? Does God have a greater dream in store for me? Alongside Rev. Mike Slaughter's text Dare to Dream the TUMC Family will share in a six-week study on Moses to learn that we are part of a dream far greater than we could ever imagine.

February 24 — Dare to Dream: Perseverance ~ Deuteronomy 34:1–12

Seeking Daughters of Jerusalem Participants

This year on Maundy Thursday TUMC will present Daughters of Jerusalem monologues from the women who served alongside, supported, and received from Jesus throughout his life and ministry. Pastor Sarah is seeking twelve women—of all ages: children, youth and adult!—to read a monologue as part of this worship service. Memorization is not required. The group will gather for one organizational meeting and one rehearsal prior to the Maundy Thursday Service in April. Please connect with Pastor Sarah—pastor@tumcfl.org—for more information or to serve!

Tuskawilla Shepherds’ Annual Golf Tournament

This year’s tournament will be Friday, April 5th beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the Rio Pinar Country Club. Proceeds from the tournament and silent auction support the ongoing ministry of Tuskawilla Shepherds to end hunger—especially hunger experienced by school age children—which was a vision of TUMC's beloved Corky Arthur that is being lived out by his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren today! For more information on the golf tournament or to register as a participant, please visit the following link: http://www.tuskawillashepherds.org/golf-tournament.html.

TUMC Food Pantry to Support Hope’s Pantry at Hope Helps Oviedo

Donations given to TUMC’s Food Pantry will be delivered by volunteers to support and stock the Hope’s Pantry at Hope Helps Oviedo.

Hope Helps Oviedo provides a number of services for persons in need and/or transitioning out of homelessness. TUMC’s Leadership Team believes supporting Hope’s Pantry with donations from our church family is a great way for us to be good neighbors and bolster Hope Helps Oviedo in the excellent service they provide.

We will continue to receive food donations on the First Sunday of each month in the shopping carts outside the Sanctuary Building or any Sunday morning or Wednesday evening in the Family Room. Directions to Hope Helps Oviedo are posted on the Church Office Window.

If you have any questions, please connect with Pastor Sarah (pastor@tumcfl.org). Thank you.
