Falling Upward Small Group Study

Beginning Wednesday, February 21st, 6:30–7:30 p.m., Pastor Sarah will lead a 14-week evening study of Fr. Richard Rohr's Falling Upward: A Spirituality for the Two Halves of Life. In this study participants will lean into a new paradigm for understanding how our failings can be the foundation for our ongoing spiritual growth. Participants are urged to purchase a copy of Rohr's book, which is available through Amazon.com or a local bookstore. For more information please email Pastor Sarah (pastor@tumcfl.org).

TUMC Food Pantry to Support Hope's Pantry at Hope Helps Oviedo

Beginning in February donations given to TUMC's Food Pantry will be delivered by volunteers to support and stock the Hope's Pantry at Hope Helps Oviedo rather than made into emergency food bags that are distributed by TUMC's Office Staff.

Hope Helps Oviedo provides a number of services for persons in need and/or experiencing homelessness. Our Food Pantry Leadership and Executive Council believe supporting Hope's Pantry with donations from our church family is a great way for us to be good neighbors and bolster Hope Helps Oviedo in the excellent service they provide.

We will continue to receive food donations on the First Sunday of each month in the shopping carts outside the Sanctuary Building or any Sunday morning or Wednesday evening in the Family Room. We will also post a notice on the Church Office Window directing folks seeking emergency food assistance to Hope Helps Oviedo.

If you have any questions, please connect with Pastor Sarah (pastor@tumcfl.org). Thank you.
