PreSchool Programs (for 3's and PreKindergarten)

The purpose of our Preschool is to provide a Christian environment to nurture children in their early learning education. Our curriculum “Creative Curriculum” applies to the areas of developmentally appropriate practices integrating the learning domains of social/emotional, cognitive learning through play (no dittos), hands-on activities, literacy, music, art and outdoor environment. A child’s family is their first teacher; however, our program helps to continue the love of knowledge, learning and self growth in a Christian environment. Our programs promote recognition that each child is a “Child of God” and should be given opportunities to learn, experience, play in a safe, happy and stimulating environment. Our staff (teachers, assistants and specials) is a dedicated early childhood group who use their education, work experience and caring nature to enrich those children’s lives they are involved with.

Our PreKindergarten classes are participating in Florida Voluntary PreKindergarten (VPK) program. Our PreK program creates the learning environment combining Creative Curriculum’s goals and objectives as well as meeting the FL VPK standards set by the state, (further details may be obtained in the Preschool office). A VPK Certificate (required items for a child are proof of FL residency, birth certificate, social security number) must be obtained through the Early Learning Coalition of Seminole County. Spaces are limited. The VPK program consists of 540 instructional hours. TUMC/ECWP’s PreK programs consists of 580 – 650 instructional hours. The VPK program consists of 540 instructional hours. Our PreK programs at TUMC/ECWP consist of 580 – 650 instructional hours. The assessment fee for the additional hours is:
4 day M/T/W/TH …..$300* and $60 monthly**

5 day M/T/W/TH/F..$300* and $100 monthly**

*$150 payment is due at registration (Non-refundable). $150 payment due by Friday, May 8th, 2009. (Non-refundable)
