SERVE… Youth Missions
We support, Juan, our Compassion
International child from Ecuador, Operation Christmas Child, and the
American soldiers in Iraq.
During the week of June 13-19, 2010, our
middle school youth and high school student leaders will combine a retreat
with mission work when we lead Vacation Bible School with the children in a
low-income Hispanic community in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Cleveland,
Georgia.
We excitedly look forward to a visit in March
of twelve of the Choctaw Indian youth from John Memorial UMC in Carthage,
MS, who will unite with our mission team to plan Vacation Bible School for
2010 together!
From July 2-11, 2010, after a spiritual
retreat at Panama City Beach, our combined mission team will return to
Carthage to lead Vacation Bible School with the Choctaw children at John
Memorial. This will be our 13th year to return in ministry at the
Choctaw Reservation.
